[Buffalo, NY] – [October 15, 2024] The California Fire Chiefs Association has partnered with 3AM Innovations to offer all Californian fire departments access to FLORIAN Monitor. With this app incident commanders have access to all the critical data they need at a glance. Enabling them to focus on effective decision-making during emergency operations.
With advanced technology increasingly used to support the work of first responders this partnership ensures that everyone can benefit. No matter how small the department, or how tight the budget constraints, first responders deserve to have technology which supports the work they do. Therefore, every fire department in the state will be eligible to receive FLORIAN Monitor to support their daily operations.
What is FLORIAN Monitor?
On the screen of the incident commander’s computer or tablet, Monitor displays tiles of both pre-set and real-time information. The tiles display information from a suite of integrated apps, including 3D mapping, satellite mapping, weather tracking, drone feeds, note-taking, instant messaging, news feeds, and more. Additionally, any URL the user wishes can also be loaded into the tiles.
These capabilities are made possible through 3AM’s partnerships with leading technology providers. Notably, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft To Do, Microsoft Whiteboard, and Microsoft Maps are all available for use in Monitor.

Furthermore, users can set the tiles up in the way which they find most useful. Selecting any variation and size of between 1 and 16 tiles on the screen. This lets users tailor Monitor to provide the most relevant information for their situation. Any of the tiles can be maximized for easier viewing, returning to the default view when minimized.
