[Las Vegas, NV] — [October 10, 2024] — Today, T-Mobile (NASDAQ: TMUS) named the 2024 Unconventional Awards winners, with 3AM Innovations, Easterseals Southern California, Infosys Limited & Sony Electronics and CBS Sports taking top spots across four categories. The third annual awards ceremony at Mobile World Congress in Las Vegas recognized business customers that leveraged T-Mobile’s 5G network to transform their industries. Each winner scored a $25,000 donation to a charity of their choice.
The first place Unconventional Awards winners in each category include:
- Community: 3AM Innovations — 3AM Innovations is enhancing firefighter activity/equipment and detecting environmental changes with FLORIAN, an AI-powered platform that tracks crews in real time. Using T-Mobile 5G, FLORIAN can provide instant updates during emergencies. 3AM chose to donate their winnings to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
- Customer Experience: Easterseals Southern California — In collaboration with Floreo VR and supported by T-Mobile’s network, Easterseals Southern California created a virtual reality platform that implements a transportation safety curriculum for children and adults with autism. These novel therapeutic approaches encourage these individuals to enhance their independence.
- Industry: CBS Sports and Sony Electronics Inc. — Together, CBS Sports and Sony Electronics Inc. transformed live sports broadcasting at the 2024 PGA Championship. They used T-Mobile 5G to enable real-time, low-latency coverage and set a new standard for the industry
- Employee Enablement: Infosys Limited — Infosys introduced a mobile-first platform that utilized artificial intelligence to streamline the employee experience, boost productivity and offer personalized engagement for more than 300,000 users.
